PANGKUR

Mingkar mingkuring angkara,
Angkarana karenan mardi siwi,
Sinawung resmining kidung,
Sinubo sinukarta,
Mrih kretarta pakartining ngelmu luhung,
Kang tumrap neng tanah Jawa,
Agama ageming aji.

Mrih tan kemba kembenganing pambudi

Yen tan mikani rasa,

Gonyak ganyuk nglelingsemi

Yen kapengkok pancabaya,
Ubayane mbalenjani.

Sapantuk wahyuning Allah,

Javanese Ritual

Javanese ritual or 'laku' is for spiritual development purposes, some for wishes or getting holistic sense and knowledge, otherwise for maintenance holistic ability.

Kungkum : Meditation in the water, keep whole body inthe water only head out, takes at all night long in the river or lagoon. This is the most popular ritual for solonese people.
Ziarah : Pray or doing meditations in a holly place, such as grave or silent places.
Mbisu : Take a walk for whole night without speaking, just keeping silent.
Ngrame : Practicing holistic to help people, go to public and helping them.
Jamas : Cleaning up, usually by taking a bath but some people doing by licking a burning keris, 'jamas' for keris or other weapon means clean it up with some acid to clean from corrossions.

Javanese Fasting

For your spiritual and holistic development there are some javanese method :

Pasa : Fasting, no food no drink for whole day and night, only permited to eat/drink at sunset or midnight.
Mutih : Seem with pasa, but only plain rice and water for eat/drink.
Ngebleng : no food, drink and sleep for whole time.
Pati Geni : seem with ngebleng with no light permited.
Ngrowot : no eat rice, only water to drink and manihot to eat

That all usually takes for 3, 7, and 40 days depend on the purpose of ritual and wishes.

Knowing your own world

To know your own world you have to focus your mind to your body, take a deep breath, feel how fresh the air come to your lung then fresh and clean up your body by this freshner, just like an air flow which flush your whole body, part by bart and even cell by cell, feel it and enjoy the freshner, keep away the dirt by expirate your breath, do it again and again, till you feel so fresh, some time it feel like fly, some time your body feel glows, explore your body part by part, enjoy your blood flows, then you feel so relax and peacefully. But remember don't be sleep unless you want it. Try this method it's good for your health.
